[BCWARN-ANNOUNCE] BCWARN Outage

All,

Just a quick note that due to cabling in progress at Mount Seymour, BCWARN
connections homing into that site will be down for the next few days. We
will be back on site on Wednesday to continue the work and hope to have
most BCWARN links back up by then (also need to replace a failed
dish/radio.)

VE7FET, VA7NSA, VA7CFK and myself were on the tower at Mount Seymour for 12
hours yesterday replacing feedlines for all repeater antennas as well as
all BCWARN data cabling. It was 9:30pm before work was completed on the
tower and we simply ran out of energy to finish restoring anything beyond
the RPT/RAG/LAN/D-Star and DMR services.

Impacted nodes / clubs in the lower mainland are shown in red on this map:

Thanks for your patience. If SFU was online during this outage, only North
Shore and Haney would have been impacted. Sadly site access issues at SFU
persist, increasing the impact of outages like this.

Thanks
Ian
